使用 The Epub AI Assistant 浏览器扩展与本站即表示你接受下列条款。请特别留意第 2 条（模型服务与费用需你自备）与第 6 条（书库保存在本地，请自行备份）。
一句话版本：软件按现状提供，模型服务与费用由你自理，你的书和配置只存在你自己的浏览器里，请自行保留原始 EPUB 作为备份。
01许可
- 本扩展以「加载已解压的扩展程序」方式安装，供你在自己的浏览器中个人使用
- 这是一款按「现状」提供的软件，不附带任何明示或默示的担保
- 你可以自由阅读、修改源码用于个人用途；仓库目前未附带开源许可文件，转载、分发或商用请先在 GitHub Issues 联系作者取得授权
02你需要自备模型服务
- 插件本身不提供模型额度、不代收费用；你需要自行准备 OpenAI 兼容接口的 Base URL、API Key 与模型名
- 由此产生的费用由你与你的模型服务商结算，作者不经手任何款项
- 请自行保管好 API Key。它只保存在你的浏览器里，作者无法查看，也无法帮你找回
03可接受使用
- 遵守你所在地区的法律法规，以及你所使用模型服务商的条款与使用限制
- 不要用本插件处理你无权处理的内容并对外传播译文
- 不得用于任何违法用途，也不要试图绕过服务商的技术或额度限制
04你的内容
- 你导入的书籍、生成的译文、生词本等一切内容都归你（或原权利人）所有，本插件不主张任何权利
- 你需要对导入内容是否合法、自己是否拥有使用权负责
05第三方输出仅供参考
- 翻译与摘要由第三方大模型生成，可能存在错误、遗漏或偏差
- 请勿将输出直接用于法律、医疗、财务等专业判断；涉及专业问题请咨询相应从业者
06数据与备份
- 书籍与配置保存在你的浏览器本地。清除浏览器数据、更换设备或卸载扩展都会导致数据丢失
- 作者无法恢复你的书库或配置，重要书籍请自行保留原始 EPUB 文件
07无担保与责任限制
- 不保证插件不中断、无错误，也不保证与所有 EPUB 文件、所有模型服务都能兼容
- 在适用法律允许的最大范围内，作者不对因使用或无法使用本插件而造成的间接损失、数据丢失或第三方费用承担责任
08条款变更
条款更新后会修改本页并更新顶部的「最后更新」日期；继续使用即视为接受更新后的条款。

Provided as is — your data stays in your browser
By using the The Epub AI Assistant browser extension and this site you accept the terms below. Please pay particular attention to section 2 (you supply the model service) and section 6 (your library is local — keep your own backups).
In one line: the software is provided as is, the model service and its cost are yours to arrange, and your books and settings live only in your own browser — keep the original EPUB files as backups.
01Licence
- The extension is installed unpacked, for your personal use in your own browser
- It is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- You may read and modify the source for personal use; the repository ships no licence file, so please ask the author on GitHub issues before redistributing or using it commercially
02You supply the model service
- The extension provides no model quota and collects no fees; you need your own OpenAI-compatible Base URL, API key and model name
- Any usage cost is settled between you and your model provider; the author handles no payments
- Keep your API key safe. It is stored only in your browser — the author cannot see it and cannot recover it for you
03Acceptable use
- Follow the laws where you live and the terms and limits of the model provider you use
- Do not use the extension on content you have no right to process, and do not redistribute translations of it
- No unlawful use, and no attempts to circumvent a provider's technical or quota limits
04Your content
- Books you import, translations you generate and your vocabulary remain yours (or the rights holder's); the extension claims no rights over them
- You are responsible for whether you may lawfully import and use that content
05Third-party output is reference only
- Translations and summaries come from third-party models and may contain errors, omissions or bias
- Do not rely on the output directly for legal, medical or financial decisions; consult a professional instead
06Data and backups
- Books and settings are stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser data, switching devices or uninstalling the extension loses them
- The author cannot restore your library or settings — keep your original EPUB files for anything important
07No warranty, limited liability
- No guarantee that the extension is uninterrupted or error-free, or that it works with every EPUB file or model service
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for indirect losses, data loss or third-party costs arising from use of, or inability to use, the extension
08Changes to these terms
Updates will be published on this page together with a new “last updated” date; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
